July 17th - Spice Curry Day by Japanese Chef Matsuda

On “Spice Curry Day”, we are serving a one-of-a-kind plate featuring four different types of curry.
In celebration of the upcoming “Doyo no Ushi no Hi” (Midsummer Day of the Ox), we are introducing a spiced eel curry as part of the lineup.
Traditionally in Japan, it’s customary to eat foods beginning with the letter “u” on this day to build stamina and combat the summer heat. Among them, unagi (eel) is especially prized for its rich nutrients and energizing qualities.
We have paired this traditional ingredient with a bold blend of spices and refined Japanese culinary techniques, resulting in a deeply satisfying, nourishing dish for powering through the heat of summer.
